A few Spring Picture outings in the Orangeville Caledon area

Found a new hiking area today. I don't think the trails form a loop so it made for a rather long walk, but I made it back to the car before the sun went down.

Jeremy Camp Concert

Got to see a great concert on Friday night at Creekside Church in Waterloo. First up was Adam Cappa, followed by Phil Wickham before Jeremy Camp. Over all it was a great night and all three artist are extremely talented in their own unique way which led to a great night of music and worship.

Martyn Joseph Concert Orangeville

If you ever have the chance to see Martyn Joseph in concert you need to go see him. I first saw Martyn in 2010 when he came to Orangeville with Stewart Henderson. This past Saturday Martyn returned and not only did I attend but this time provided the gear and ran sound for the concert. This was the first real concert test we have had to use the new JBL VP7212 speakers and they did not disappoint. I would say they are probably the best sounding speakers I have heard and for this type of concert they were perfect. We did add a small 10" sub to fill out the bottom end but the VP's really performed well. Here are a few shots from the night and here's hoping that Orangeville will be a regular stop when Martyn returns.

First taste of Spring

It was still a little cold but Spring is trying hard to get here.

Supermoon March 19 2011

Tonight was the famous Supermoon as it has been called. The moon tonight was the closest it has been to us in 18 years and it was a perfect, although chilly, night to get some pictures.
