Ice Storm December 2013

This past week Ontario was hit with a large ice storm causing major power outages for several days in some areas. After a few days of freezing rain the sun came out which provided some great photo opportunities. These were taken in the Orangeville Area, Dufferin County.

After a Spring Rain in Town of Mono

After a huge down pour last week I headed out for a drive through 

Hockley Valley in the Town of Mono and grabbed a few shots.

Justin Hines CD Release Concert

I am not sure where I first heard of Justin Hines but he is one of my 

favorite artists now and a regular part of my playlists. 

He recently released his latest CD "How We Fly"

 and I manged to get to the CD release concert at Hugh's Room in Toronto on Wednesday night.

The whole band was great, hugely talented and put on a great performance 

playing a full mix of previous songs as well as new material off the CD.
Justin is about to head across the country on the Vehicle of Change Tour
which is quite the story and venture he is undertaking.

Reconnect Tech Conference 2013

The weekend of April 26-27 saw almost 400 people involved in all kinds of church Tech
come Forward Church in Cambridge Ontario for the Reconnect Conference. 

Friday night was a large session gathering with a coffee house and time to mingle after to meet fellow techs. Saturday provided four breakout sessions covering topics such as Audio, Lighting, Media, Stage Design as well as another main session with a time of worship and teaching.

Production for the event was provided by Soundbox Productions. It was great having them on board. Caught the lighting guy in action here, very impressive and great job on the lighting

Saturday morning session was head up by Joel Auge.

LeadWorship Conference with Paul Baloche

A Group of or worship team from Compass Orangeville, headed to Harvest Bible Chapel in Oakville this weekend for the Leadworship conference with Paul Baloche. Friday night was a full concert by Paul and his band and we found out a before the event that they were planning to record the event with the hopes of producing a DVD. It was great night and over all conference with lots of great teaching on Saturday.

Paul has a huge desire to find new artists in the worship community

 and give them the opportunity to get some exposure. 

Brooke Williams is at school with Paul's daughter, 

he made a call and invited her to come to the conference this weekend.  

Brooke shared one of her songs and everyone agreed that you need to remember this name.
