After a dusting of snow Boxing Day cleared up and
turned out to be perfect for some late afternoon pictures.

Have not got out as much lately since it is dark so early and the weather has not been great. But I finished work early yesterday and after a little dusting of snow and a sunny day I had to get out.
Took a drive to the Alton Mill just outside Orangeville.

Hannah Chapplain CD Release Party

Did sound for Hannah Chapplain's CD release party last weekend.

Hannah did a great job and the whole band sounded great.

Rick Hansen Relay

The Rick Hansen 25th Anniversary Relay, currently making its way across Canada, 

arrived in Orangeville on December 6, 2011. The Town asked for some volunteers to get some pictures as the medal bearers made their way through KayCee Gardens where Christmas in the Park is each year at this time.

From a photography point of view it was a bit if a challenge. Low light moving subjects and many people in the way. Here are a few of the shot that i got.

 Had the family up to day for my son Caleb's birthday dinner. It was a beautiful day for a walk so we headed to the CVC Conservation area between Orangeville and Alton. 

Thanks to my Niece Jen for being such a willing model.

Algonquin Camping Trip

 Managed to get away for a weekend with some friends to Algonquin Park. Even though the Fall colours were done, the weather was great and managed to drag them along for some walks to get some shots.

The mornings were a little frosty which led to some mist on the lake

Went for a hike up Booth Rock great view of the park

You have never experienced a gourmet camp meal like this guy can prepare.

 The deal was he cooked and the rest of us cleaned up.
